ABOUT GLOBAL FAMILY COMMUNITY CENTRE
Global Family Community Centre (GFCC) is a non-profit organization that strives to improve and empower people from diverse communities by lightening the financial burden of food insecurity, and provide access to services for the whole family.
We believe that food is a basic human right, and we strive to provide it for our clients. We also offer other services such as education, counseling, job training, and more.
We believe that everyone deserves to live with dignity and without fear of hunger. We are committed to helping our neighbors in need by providing food and other services as well as education about healthy eating habits.
Our team works hard every day to provide opportunities for families and individuals who have experienced food insecurity or are currently struggling with it.
At Global Family Community Centre, we are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all; regardless of gender, religion, and sexual orientation.
GFCC works to provide access to appropriate food and resources for those in need, with a goal to promote equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in all aspects of our work.
We believe everyone deserves access to healthful food and necessities to live a full life, regardless of any aspect of their identity.
We believe that food is a human right. We are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for users of the Centre, volunteers, donors, agency members, and staff.

Global Family Community Centre is committed to using our platform to advocate on behalf of our neighbors living with poverty to all levels of government to push forward long-term, systemic change that addresses the root cause of food insecurity – poverty. We recognize that EDI work is ongoing, and we will continue to grow, learn and find meaningful ways to enact real change to eliminate barriers and promote equity in all that we do.
OUR VISION
Global Family Community Centre meets the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the people of Peel and surrounding communities. GFCC helps individuals and families impacted by poverty, equipping them to move forward, become self sufficient and live renewed lives then in turn give back to the community.
